Krishe Kugan is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Windsor and an Honours Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from York University.

Krishe is committed to creating a compassionate, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Her approach is not about quick fixes, but about working together to understand what is being carried, uncover patterns, and build a life that feels more aligned, authentic, and sustainable.

Areas of Focus

Krishe works with individuals seeking support for eating disorders, including mild to moderate anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating disorder. She integrates Enhanced Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT-E), an evidence-based and widely recognized treatment model, to support balanced and sustainable relationships with food, body image, and emotional experiences.

In addition, Krishe provides dedicated support for individuals in the bariatric population, offering psychoeducation and therapeutic counselling to guide clients through the emotional and psychological adjustments that often accompany significant body changes.

Beyond these areas, Krishe supports clients experiencing emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, caregiver burnout, and life transitions. Her practice draws from strength-based, solution-focused, relational, and trauma-informed approaches, incorporating tools from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).

Krishe’s work is grounded in a relational and collaborative therapeutic framework that values connection to the self, the body, and the broader social context. She supports clients in moving through the healing process at a pace that feels safe, steady, and empowering.
